Hello to you all!

Well, we have proved to ourselves, if nothing else, that this is possible. We are writing this from Andorra , and have spent the last 4 days travelling from Bilbao, through the beautiful Pirinieos.

We set sail from Portsmouth last thursday aboard the ´Pride of Bilbao´, where we were soon surrounded by our fellow passengers, namely pissed-up Welsh hen-parties! Great for comedy value, not so great for relaxing!

Leaving the floating ´Phoenix nights´early saturday morning, we set off into the unknown , and almost instantly attracted the attention of the local police force! Luckily, all they wanted to do was to point us in the right direction, which was lucky as trying to navigate out of Bilbao proved to be a nightmare!

Since then we have experienced busy dual carriageways, dusty farm tracks, touristy campsites, remote campsites, incredible views, mountain passes, flat plains , sun, rain and thunderstorms! In a nutshell, everything we had hoped for. No matter how awesome the weather or the views, nothing has been more rewarding than the support we are receiving from people who pass us along the way, and the locals who take interest whenever we stop.

We are currently enjoying our first day off in Andorra, giving us the chance to iron out a few problems that have cropped up, mainly electrical, and catch up on this very blog. At the moment, we can´t upload any of our photos, but we hope to try another internet cafe today.

From here, a day and a halfs riding will take us to Jons cousin, Jerome and his family, just north of Toulouse. From there, our next planned stop will be Chamonix, where weather permitting, we are hoping to enjoy some mountaineering, and maybe even an attempt to climb Mont Blanc! Incidently, if anyone knows anyone who is based in Cham who we can borrow / hire some kit from, can you please drop us a line, as we don´t have any of our kit with us!

So, thanks for all your support so far, and special thanks to Sam for sorting our webpage for us. Keep your messages coming!
